Love it or Leave it?... your Home that is!
Here are 7 questions to help you decide:
1. Have your family’s needs changed?
Adding to your family… Becoming an empty-nester...Just need more or less space – These are all reasons to consider a move.
2. Has your lifestyle changed?
Maybe you have a new job offer…Want a warmer climate…Need to be closer to family – Making a move to accommodate these changes might be the right choice for you.
3. Ready to simplify your life?
Over time the repairs, chores and maintenance can be overwhelming. Simplifying may allow you more time for the activities you love.
4. Is your home worth major renovations?
Whether to renovate or relocate is a personal and financial consideration. Time, effort, and the return on your investment must all be weighed out.
5. Has the neighborhood value changed?
Whether the value has gone up or down, leaving might be best to protect your financial investment.
6. Has your home become a financial burden?
Things change, and if that is you, then selling your home could be the most prudent financial decision, particularly if it has accumulated equity.
7. Do you want to tap into your home’s equity?
If you have been in your home for several years, then you likely have built up equity. This asset can have a few benefits – a home equity loan or using the that $ pay off your mortgage, or tackle other goals.
The Spouses Selling Houses Team would LOVE to help you work through these questions (and more) to help you make the decision you LOVE!
