Where are People Moving to? .... It’s Not What you Think!
It’s not the South…or out West. It is actually the Northeast and the Midwest! Realtor.com recently ranked the hottest markets and this is what they found.
So why aren’t homebuyers flocking to the sunnier, warmer climates?
For the South, it comes down to supply and demand: This region of the country has seen housing stock boom over the past year as buyer demand waned. And you can blame high home prices for the West’s absence from these rankings.
So where are people moving to?
New Hampshire came out on top and our neighbor Rockford, Illinois came out in the #2 spot! Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Connecticut each had two cities in the top 20 list.

Donna & Mike walked and shopped and had adult beverages in the Beverly neighborhood in Chicago! Donna is a north suburban girl and is experiencing more of the Chicago’s south side!
Donna had a girlfriend weekend with Pamela Goldberg and Susan Musaus in Alpharetta, Georgia. Besides shopping, gracious hospitality from Pamela, and a lovely dinner, they hiked to see the Desoto Falls in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
